Council Member Biography

George Kapetanakis was a Vice President of Business Development & Innovation for T-Mobile International. In this role George is leading a team that evaluates and incubates new business ideas from technology and marketing firms which can be commercially exploited by T-Mobile. His responsibilities include the development of new revenue streams, strategic partnerships and the enhancement of the innovation capability of the organisation. George has more than 18 years professional experience in Telecommunications from business development and marketing to account and operations management. Prior to join T-Mobile, George worked at Ericsson and has also worked for Kodak Digital Imaging Services in Europe. He has experience in selling mobile communications services and has an extensive knowledge of the International Telecommunications market and operators. He holds a BSEE and an MBA and is a member of the IEEE and the Internet Society. (This is me - Update Profile)
