Gary Mendoza

Gary Mendoza is a Managing Director of The Right Way, a full service healthcare consulting organization which assists hospitals and medical groups identify and secure additional revenue sources. Mr. Mendoza has had a leadership role in healthcare for over 12 years. From 1993 to 1996, he served as California Commissioner of Corporations. While there, Mr. Mendoza led and managed a 425-person regulatory department with jurisdiction over HMOs, securities, finance lenders and mortgage bankers. During that time, he restructured important elements of the Department's HMO Division and successfully negotiated with Blue Cross of California the formation of The California Endowment and the California Healthcare Foundation, charitable foundations with over $5 billion in assets. After leaving the Department, he spent 1-1/2 years as Los Angeles Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. Mr. Mendoza was the Republican candidate for California Insurance Commissioner in 2003.
