Gary Freund

Gary Freund is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer at Freund and Associates, a hotel consultancy firm, where he has worked since 1981. The company advises clients in all aspects of lodging, restaurants, food, and beverage, totaling over $10M in annual consulting revenue. Clients have included franchise owners of Hilton, Hyatt, Starwood, and Holiday Inn locations, among numerous independent businesses, as well. Mr. Freund has over 25 years of experience in the field of hospitality consultancy, assisting both large and small hospitality and food service operations. Additionally, Mr. Freund is Chair of the Advisory Board of the Department of Leadership in Hospitality and Leisure Services of California State University East Bay and serves on the faculty.
