Farzin Jahed

Farzin Jahed is an Applications and Product Engineer at Statek, a manufacturer of custom crystals and oscillators. Previously, he was a Hardware Applications Engineer at Toshiba America Electronic Components, where he was till August 2003. He has over 22 years of experience in electronic industry, with expertise in semiconductor devices.

Mr. Jahed has more than 14 years of experience in memory engineering at Toshiba, and specializes in NOR Flash and NAND Flash devices, DDR SDRAM, RDRAM, SRAM, memory modules and memory cards, strataflash and mirrorbit flash architectures, and Secure Disital (SD) as well as other memory controllers. He is knowledgeable on Bluetooth, biometrics, network processor, SoC, and crystal and oscillator technologies as well as microprocessors and microcontrollers, and he follows all these topics within the industry.

Mr. Jahed has expertise in semiconductors, particularly engineering and market trends in Flash memory products. He has authored a chapter in a book, to be published by CRC Press in August 2007, on this subject. (This is me - Update Profile)
