Eric Vaughn

Eric Vaughn is a Partner at Book Hill Partners in Washington, DC, where he specializes in energy policy, environmental regulations, value-added agriculture, and trade policy issues. He has more than 25 years of technical, financial, legal, and political experience with the production, blending, delivery logistics, and storage of transportation fuels including ethanol, bio diesel, E-85, and ethanol blended gasoline. Mr. Vaughn is an expert on the production and marketing of renewable fuel, ethanol and bio diesel manufactured from a range of agricultural feed stocks including corn, sugar cane, grain sorghum, and numerous cellulosic materials. He also specializes in ethanol production economics with specific first hand knowledge of the ethanol and bio-fuels programs in the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, Central America, Europe, China, Japan, India, and Australia. Previously, Mr. Vaughn served as President of the Renewable Fuels Association, the national fuel ethanol trade association. Before that, Mr. Vaughn held several positions in the Federal Government, including Domestic Policy Advisor in the Executive Office of the President on Energy, Agriculture, Environment, and Trade Policy. He also served as a National Energy Security Policy Advisor during the Ford and Carter Administrations. Mr. Vaughn earned his B.A. in economics and international affairs from New York’s Alfred University and his M.P.A. from Syracuse University. (This is me - Update Profile)
