Dr. Elizabeth Davis MD, FACS

Council Member Biography

Elizabeth Davis, MD, FACS, is Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Davis is also Partner and Medical Director of the Surgery Center at Minnesota Eye Consultants. She is fellowship trained in corneal, cataract, and refractive surgery. Dr. Davis is actively involved in research as an investigator in over 40 clinical studies, teaching, and consulting for several companies. She sits on numerous committees for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Davis gives numerous talks nationally and internationally and has authored over 30 abstracts, 100 journal articles, and 47 book chapters. She has edited six textbooks and also sits on the editorial board for several journals. She has performed over 10,000 LASIKs, PRK, PTK, LASEK, epi-LASIK, Intralase, Intacs, phakic IOLs, and conductive keratoplasty procedures and also routinely performs cataract surgery and refractive lens surgery using accommodative and multifocal IOLs.
