Edward Weinstein is a consultant and advisor to businesses and other organizations, an arbitrator and board member of commercial and not for profit organizations. Mr. Weinstein most recently worked with Deloitte and Touche for 40 years, and retired as a Senior Partner in the New York office in 1998. He has been an auditor and advisor to many companies in a variety of industries, including retail (specialty and department stores), finance, apparel manufacturing, electronics, supermarket, printing, computer service, pension fund, general manufacturing, defense contracting, milk processing, banking, real estate and cigarette manufacturing. Mr. Weinstein has participated in a number of bankruptcy engagements, notably that of Toys R Us. He is currently serving as an expert witness on a number of matters involving disputes involving accounting, auditing and corporate governance, including work for the SEC and the US Attorney of Southern California. He also acts as advisor to a large NYSE company on matters of governance and professionalism of its financial and accounting staff. Mr. Weinstein has also served as the Chairman of a privately owned information technology business, headquartered in Harlem, Netherlands until August 2001. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
