Mr. Duane Thomas

Council Member Biography

Duane Thomas is a Member at Austin CIO Partners, a provider of IT managed services and Executive IT management services. Previously, he was a Chief Architect for the Global Securitized Market group at Citigroup, specializing in system, software architecture, thought leadership and design. Mr. Thomas was involved in the rollout of business process management applications and building a business intelligence platform. Additional successes were as the lead Architect in the rewrite of a large NY Investment Bank's Municipal bond trading platform, completing the re-architecture and re-design of High-Availability/ Fault-Tolerant solutions for a treasury system, advising and consulting various teams on SharePoint development and capacity management leveraging virtualization, providing architectural and design guidance for the .NET & J2EE development platforms. He has been involved in creation and deployment of IT compliance and governance policies under the ITIL & Sarbanes Oxley regiments. (This is me - Update Profile)
