Don Calhoon

Donald Calhoon was EVP of Marketing for Wendy's until 2004, overseeing total marketing direction for Wendy's restaurants worldwide. He was a member of the company's Executive Management Team, which directs business plans to ensure company profitability and growth. In the 90's, Calhoon led the successful Dave Thomas advertising campaign. In addition to directing Wendy's national advertising, he oversaw brand marketing, media planning, advertising production, market research and analysis, new product marketing and the field marketing organization. Mr. Calhoon joined Wendy's International in 1978 and in 1984 was appointed VP of Field Marketing where he coordinated Wendy's marketing plans for both company and franchise markets. In 1989, Calhoon was appointed VP of Corporate Marketing, in the U.S. and Canada. Calhoon spearheaded Wendy's efforts in special event marketing and developed the Wendy's Three-Tour Challenge, a made-for-television golf tournament benefiting adoption. (This is me - Update Profile)
