Dominic Paniccia is Senior Research Director at CARD (Card Analytics, Research and Discussion), a firm which offers research and advisory services including surveys of credit card industry managers and executives, in-depth quantitative assessments, forecast models and comparative analytics on the largest players in the credit card industry to industry competitors and the buy side. The firm's proprietary CARD database contains highly detailed financial, operating data for the following companies: Amex, Discover, COF, Citi, Chase, BofA, Wamu, MasterCard and Visa. Prior to joining CARD, Mr. Paniccia was Vice President of Strategy at American Express, where he managed the global planning and forecasting process, transfer pricing strategy, and competitive intelligence team. As Director of Strategic Business Analysis for American Express, his responsibilities included business analysis on subjects such as Long Range Planning, M&A, and Investment Optimization. Mr. Paniccia led the firm's competitive analysis team and created “Sell-Side” equity research capabilities responsible for covering US card issuing competitors. During his time at American Express, he was also part of the CFO's strategy team. He has also worked as a consultant for Brilliont, a consulting firm which specializes in cost optimization, organic growth, and innovation. (This is me - Update Profile)
