Dick Palmer

Dick Palmer is the President at General Mortgage Corporation. Mr. Palmer was the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of The Associates Group, a San Diego based real estate service organization. The group included Coldwell Banker Associates Realty, General Mortgage, Summit Escrow, National Title and AGIS Insurance. Under Mr. Palmer's management, The Associates Group earned recognition as one of the most efficient "one-stop-shopping" models in the nation. Coldwell Banker Associates Realty with over 500 agents was ranked as the No. 1 Coldwell Banker franchisee in California for the past seven years. In 2004, the combined companies produced over $50 million in gross revenue and $2 billion in volume. In April 2005, Mr. Palmer sold Associates Realty to Cendant Corp's NRT Inc., and now serves as Executive Advisor to Coldwell Banker's southern California region. Mr. Palmer graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in business. He entered the real estate field in California in 1974 after retiring as a National Football League linebacker.
