Council Member Biography

Demetrios Koufos is an Independent Consultant providing consulting services in the oil, gas and cement industry. He was a Senior Process Engineer at Motor Oil Hellas, Greece responsible for developing and maintaining the refinery and terminal supply optimization model. Also focused on the five year strategic supply plan, annual supply tacplan, three month look ahead plan and worked on supply chain optimization, and interfaced with the refinery's economic and planning team. He also provided support in the development of an integrated supply chain optimization utilizing supply optimization models, and other financial and economic models and worked with the strategy and business intelligence unit of Shell Global Solutions in strategic financial valuation projects, development of business intelligence channels, and sales/marketing framework models.
