Deborah Outlaw is the Principal of The Outlaw Group in Washington, DC, where she provides legislative and regulatory services to physician specialty groups, allied health providers, medical device manufacturers, and non-profit organizations interested in medical research. With over 25 years of experience in developing health care public policy, her practice focuses on federal programmatic policy issues and trends on national health reform, Medicare/Medicaid coverage, coding, and reimbursement for services and devices in various health sectors, medical research, and policies surrounding implementation of Health Information Technology. She served in two Presidential Administrations and for a U.S. Senator Director of Congressional Affairs in the Legislative office at CMS, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, and attorney in the Executive Office of the President.
