Council Member Biography

David Taylor is the President of Taylor Consulting Inc., specializing in marine management consulting. Mr. Taylor is also part owner of a marina and retail boat dealership. Prior to 2007, he was the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the US Marine Division of Brunswick Corporation, a recreational boat manufacturer. He is a sales and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience in product and strategic planning, brand management, product pricing, forecasting, and dealer network management. He has led teams in developing and launching brands and product extensions, distribution growth and management, product and marketing globalization, market and customer research. Prior positions include the President of Baja Boats, and various roles in sales and marketing. He has expertise and familiarity with the marine distribution channel.
