David Engler, MD, a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine, has worked at The Allergy Clinic since 1991. He has served two terms on the Board of Regents of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, and has represented that organization at the A.M.A. Dr. Engler has a busy sub-specialty practice in the Texas Medical Center with referrals coming from physicians at Baylor College of Medicine, Univeristy of Texas' MD Anderson Hospital, and physicians throughout the community. Referrals also arrive from Mexico and Latin America because of his work at the College and since he is fluent in conversational Spanish. Dr. Engler has published scientific manuscripts (as first author) on allergy skin test devices in both the Annals of Allergy and the Journal of Allergy & Clinical Immunology. If this isn't fixed, it won't be long before cognitive specialties, like internal medicine and neurology, start capping their practices and not allowing new Medicare patients.

Here comes a prescription version of generic Zyrtec syrup.  At first glance, we wonder how it will compete with over the counter Zyrtec.  But wait...there may be a market for this drug

Xyzal--Just overpriced Zyrtec | 04-04-2008

 A bottle of 30 Generic Zyrtec can be purchased for $15.  No one is going to get Xyzal that inexpensively. There are no head to head studies showing Xyzal to be better than Zyrtec.  Even though Xyzal claims a 6% sedation rate compared to Zyrtec's 14% rate, it's not apples to apples. ...
