Dave Hillman is an Independent Consultant providing consulting services to market pulp producers and producers of coated and uncoated papers. During the past 22 years, he has become internationally recognized for his papermaking, sales and marketing expertise. His industry experience includes market pulp Sales Manager for Hammermill, VP-Technical Sales-Woodpulp International, various production, technical and product development positions with Westvaco. He has conducted over 100 in-plant seminars for companies in the US, Mexico, Canada, Chile, Brazil, South Africa and throughout Europe and has spoken at numerous conferences and world pulp congresses. He is the co-author of "The World of Market Pulp", the industry's reference book on the world's most distinctive market pulps. More recently, he has acquainted himself with the 2005 Government regulation allowing pulp mills to claim a tax credit for burning black liquor and also in calculating the appropriate credit for each mill's production.
