Darcy Ryan, OD, is an Optometrist at Hertzog Eye Associates, an Ophthalmological practice in Long Beach, California. He performs routine and specialty adult and pediatric eye exams. He treats and co-manages patients with almost every type of eye condition, including those with glaucoma, microbial infections, injuries, foreign bodies, macular degeneration, cataracts (pre- and post-op.), allergies, dry eye syndrome, and diabetic retinopathy, among many others. He has expertise with complicated spectacle prescriptions (including patients with amblyopia, double vision, low vision, Alzheimer's, and dementia). He also prescribes every type of soft contact lenses (spherical, toric, bifocal, silicone hydrogel) and hard (rigid gas permeable) contact lenses, and dispenses contact lens solutions. Dr. Ryan’s experience with contact lenses extends to therapeutic fitting and visual rehabilitation for patients with keratoconus and corneal transplants. (This is me - Update Profile)
