Dan Forkell is an independent consultant with Financial Consulting International, a strategic advisory firm specializing in the money transfer industry and international mergers and & acquisitions. Mr. Forkell was previously the Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for Western Union International where he successfully sourced, structured and negotiated acquisitions in Europe, Latin America, Asia/Pacific, Africa and the United States. At Western Union, Mr. Forkell formulated the strategy for acquiring international and domestic companies that were integral to Western Union's plan for growth and profitability. He is experienced in dealing with, the ethnic players in the money transfer space. Mr. Forkell sourced, researched and evaluated potential acquisition candidates.
