Daniel Curran is Managing Director at DC CyberCom, a management consultancy to technology startups. Previously, he was VP and Chief Operating Officer of Western Digital's Connex & SANavigator Units, which were sold to Adaptec and Brocade. He has 25 years experience and contacts in data center customers, systems integrators, and vendors. He follows inventory, pricing, TAM, demand, sales traction, and technology roadmaps in the storage, hard disk & flash drives, software, internet, and enterprise information technology sectors. Mr. Curran follows Seagate, Western Digital, Samsung, HGST, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Williams, Marvell, LSI/Agere, IVAC, Adaptec, HDS, EMC, VMWare, NTAP, Brocade, Q-Logic, Emulex, Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM, SanDisk, Veritas, Data Domain, BladeLogic, Opsware, Exagrid, DataCore, and FLCN. He was also CEO of AlaStor Networks, a Stanford iSCSI/FC bridge startup. He holds 3 MS degrees in Engineering from U. Illinois-Urbana, USC, & Penn State and teaches Tech Innovation at UCLA.
