Dan Gode is a Clinical Associate Professor of Accounting, Taxation, and Business Law at New York University Stern School of Business. He is also the Co-Founder of Almaris E-Learning Systems. Professor Gode teaches courses in corporate financial accounting and modeling and projecting financial statements. He was voted as the “Professor of the Year” in 2002 and 2004. His primary research areas include financial analysis and valuation, market design, legal liability of firms, and managerial accounting and performance measurement. He has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Political Economy, and Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance. Professor Gode holds a BS in electrical engineering, an MBA, MS in information systems and accounting, and a PhD in accounting.
