Dan Dodson is a Principal at VirComm Partner, a company providing consulting services to the telecom sector. Mr. Dodson is experienced in wireless industry analysis, mobile advertising, off-portal mobile content development, and managing launch operations for wireless carriers. He is knowledgeable on marketing, product development, strategy, and business development.

Previously, Mr. Dodson was Director - Product Development at Virgin Mobile USA, where he was responsible for development and launch of wireless data applications; and a Senior Manager- Engineering and Operations Group at Sprint PCS, where he was responsible for managing launch of nationwide CDMA services.

Mr. Dodson’s career has included work in marketing, product development, strategy and business development for both large and small telecommunications carriers. He has done extensive work in developing marketing/business plans with an emphasis on go-to-market strategies for new and innovative products. His areas of concentration include mobile advertising: utilizing the mobile channel to reach target markets; youth marketing: understanding the drivers of youth behavior to engage and entertain them; alternate distribution models for wireless services: offering customers a variety of methods to purchase wireless content/services; and developing unique and engaging wireless applications/content.
