Mr. Craig Berrington

Council Member Biography

Craig Berrington is Co-Chair of the Insurance Legislation and Regulation Practice at Wiley Rein LLP. Prior to joining Wiley Rein in 2006, Berrington served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the American Insurance Association. Prior to joining AIA, Berrington served in several key psoitions in the United States Department of Labor, including Associate Solicitor, Executive Assistant to the Under Secretary, and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Employment Standards.

Berrington has a B.A. degree from the School of International Srervice, at American University. His law degree is from Northwestern. He is a member of the Supreme Court bar and the bar of the District of Columbia. Over the years, he has often testified before Congress and has filed briefs on behalf of the insurance industry with numerous state courts and the Supreme Court. (This is me - Update Profile)
