Mr. Clayton Snear

Council Member Biography

Clayton Snear is partial owner, Vice President and General Manager at Lion Polymers, a custom compounder of elastomers and colorants. Mr. Snear is also a trader at Laudadio Polymers, a broker in the volume polymers. He was Vice President and General Manager of North American Pipe Division at Westlake Group. Mr. Snear has also worked at Chevron Chemicals, Gulf Oil Chemicals, and Union Carbide. He has more than 30 years of experience in general management, sales and marketing, and polymers and chemical intermediates manufacturing. Mr. Snear also has experience in mergers and acquisitions, business management, operations, business viability evaluations, strategic planning, and business turnarounds. Prior he was Managing Partner at Resin Technology. Mr. Snear was responsible for managing volumes, prices, terms and conditions, and producer activities for polyethylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).
