Christopher Mottershead

Christopher Mottershead is Chief Executive Officer for Travelzest, an on-line travel group focused on high quality brands offering specialist holiday products and on-line distribution services. He has held this position since 2004. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of TUI UK, a TUI AG company, for the UK market from 2001 to 2004. He was responsible for £2bn in sales, 10,000 staff and 900 retail shops. He has led Thomson Holidays to become the largest holiday company in the UK. Prior to that, he was more recently President and Chief Executive Officer of North American Leisure Group at Airtours plc from 1993 to 2001, managing its North American activities, including Sunquest, Holiday Network, Suntrips and Vacation Express. Before this, he was Managing Director of Airtours Holidays, a £1.2bn turnover business, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, finance, overseas, customer service, planning, product buying, IT, HR, legal and commercial.
