Mr. Chris Miner

Council Member Biography

Chris Miner is the Managing Director of Real Estate Advisory Services at Greenfield Advisors in Seattle, where he has worked since 2008. Mr. Miner is a former chapter president of the Appraisal Institute and remains involved as a member of the Appraisal Institute's GIS Project Team within the Technology Special Interest Group. He has authored six seminars and taught more than a dozen seminars and courses for the Appraisal Institute and the University of Connecticut. The author of several articles and a chapter in the forthcoming text Visual Valuation, (Appraisal Institute, 2009), he has a national reputation for GIS applications in real estate site selection, valuation, and market analysis and for the valuation of marinas and other waterfront properties. Mr. Miner has developed sales forecasting and market planning models for retail and healthcare companies and valuations on complex properties and has led market analysis projects across the country. He has been involved in litigation before state and federal courts; is a state certified (general) appraiser, a real estate broker, and a Realtor. (This is me - Update Profile)
