Chester B. Salomon was a Senior Shareholder and Co-Chair of the Bankruptcy/Workout Practice of Stevens & Lee in New York. Mr. Salomon has represented debtors, creditors, lenders, trustees, litigants and asset purchasers in complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases for more than 35 years. He has served as Chapter 11 trustee, Chapter 7 trustee and examiner in a number of cases in the New York metropolitan area and has a well-deserved reputation for investigating and uncovering fraud in bankruptcy cases and other insolvency situations. Previously, he was a Senior Partner of Salomon Green & Ostrow, where he focused on creditors' rights, bankruptcy and corporate reorganizations. Mr. Salomon has spoken publicly in the United States and Europe and has written numerous articles on insolvency and bankruptcy topics. His select publications and speaking engagements include “10 Practical Questions as a Client Faces Loan Default,” “What Real Estate Brokers Should Know When a Home Buyer or Seller Enters Bankruptcy,” "Lender Strategies in Bankruptcy Asset Sales,"and "Corporate Directors' Changing Fiduciary Duties as Insolvency and Chapter 11 Approach,"Since 2004, Mr. Salomon has been a director of the American Bankruptcy Institute and served as Program Co-Chair at the 1999-2002 ABI New York City Bankruptcy Conferences. He received his A.B. from Columbia University and his J.D. and LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law. (This is me - Update Profile)
