GAO Changming is an independent cement consultant based in Beijing, China, and has also been acting as a Senior Advisor / Consultant to FL Smidth, a global cement equipment manufacturer. Prior to his retirement, he was the R&D Director and Chief Engineer with the Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute, which is one of the top institutes in the industry. He has also worked with KHD Humboldt Wedag as a process manager. Mr. Gao has more than 50 years of experience in the cement industry and is knowledgeable with R&D, process management and mechanical research as it pertains to cement production. In 1992, he was recognized as a national expert by the State Council. He is also the Regional Senior Editor for the International Cement Review, a journal published by ICR in UK.
