Council Member Biography

Carlos Sanchez is Associate Director of Research at CPM Group, a precious metals research and consulting company based in the New York City. Mr. Sanchez is responsible for maintaining proprietary database of statistical information on precious metals and co-authoring the CPM Gold, Silver, and Platinum Yearbooks with Jeffrey Christian, published by John Wiley & Sons. He also has experience in publishing the Long-Term Outlook on gold, silver, and platinum group metals used in conducting feasibility studies for major mining projects, annual reports, and financial models for investment banks. Mr. Sanchez holds a BS in Finance and Information Systems from the New York University. He also authors the monthly Precious Metals Advisory which holds a subscriber base of some of the most prominent hedge funds, mining corporations, and other institutional investment houses around the world.
