Byron Lee, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology and Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at University of California San Francisco. Dr. Lee is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has expertise in treatments for cardiac arrhythmia including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy, ablation of arrhythmias, lead extraction, and sudden cardiac death. Dr. Lee's research interests include optimizing device therapy for heart failure, finding risk factors for atrial fibrillation, and novel approaches to atrial fibrillation ablation.
