Council Member Biography

Bruce Zaret is the President/Owner of Zaret International, a home furnishings importer, since April 2008. Mr. Zaret sells imported home furnishings from China to Wal-Mart, J.C Penney, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Burlington Coat Factory, Linens N Things, and Target. Prior to this, Mr. Zaret was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Textiles from Europe, dba Victoria Classics, a company that sells imported home furnishings from China to retailers such as Bed Bath & Beyond and Target, from 2000 to April 2008. He has 25 years of experience in the home furnishings industry. He has represented General Electric in the long-term care division and is licensed. Previously, he was the VP of Sales at Beacon Looms for 18 years.
