Andrew Green is a Professor of Finance at Wofford College, where he has taught since September 2006. Previously, Mr. Green was Chief Financial Officer at Denny's, a restaurant company with over 1,500 units nationwide, where he worked from 1996 through 2005. At Denny's, Mr. Green helped lead a business and operational turnaround resulting in 23 consecutive months of same-store sales increases. Combined with a 2004 recapitalization of the company's highly leveraged capital structure, the turnaround increased Denny's market cap from under $40 million in 2001 to over $400 million, culminating in a 2005 NASDAQ re-listing. His prior position was Senior Vice President, Planning and Corporate Controller at Denny’s where his responsibilities ranged from strategic planning to implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
