Allen Levenson is the former Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Asbury Automotive Group and currently President of Gear (Global Expertise in Automotive Retail) Consulting. Mr. Levenson is a highly sought after automotive consultant to the investor and media community based on his unique perspective of the industry which includes nearly 8 years as the Vice President Sales and Marketing for Asbury Automotive Group as well as consulting with both McKinsey and Bain & Company. He led sales, marketing, Internet, CRM, strategic planning, and public relations initiatives at Asbury. He is familiar with long term and short term trends impacting the automotive industry, including market shares for each OEM, the impact of fuel prices, car vs. truck share, financing trends, and the availability of credit. He is also familiar with technology providers to the industry including Reynolds and Reynolds and Dealer Track. He tracks current sales trends carefully, including month to date data.
