Alfred Bartolucci, PhD, is a Professor of Biostatistics at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Bartolucci’s areas of expertise in applied statistics are oncology , Alzheimer's disease, cardiovascular disease, statistical genetic association research, and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. His areas of research include clinical trials, survival analysis, and epidemiology. Dr. Bartolucci has over 30 years of expertise and experience in biostatistics. He has published over 200 articles in prestigious academic journals, as well as dozens of abstracts, paper presentations, and consultancies. Dr. Bartolucci is a member of several professional and scholarly organizations, including the American Statistical Association and the Society for Clinical Trials. Dr. Bartolucci serves on a number of NIH study sections as ad hoc reviewer and was a reviewer on the NIH panel for Small Business Innovative Research.
