Mr. Albert Baldocchi

Council Member Biography

Albert Baldocchi is a Board Member of Chipotle Mexican Grill, a publicly-traded national 750-unit fast casual restaurant concept where he has worked since June 1996. Mr. Baldocchi was integral in McDonald's investment in Chipotle, having introduced the companies and advised Chipotle on the transaction. He began working with 4-unit Chipotle in 1996. He is also a Board Member of Not Your Average Joe's, a 15-unit casual dining chain in the Boston area and was a Director Emeritus of Noodles & Company, a privately-held 110+ unit fast casual concept operating in 15 states. In 1995, he became a founding partner of Einstein's Bagels and as Head of Business Development helped grow that concept to 340 units. Mr. Baldocchil worked in corporate finance for 15 years with Morgan Stanley, Montgomery, First Boston and Salomon, spending five of those years specializing in the restaurant industry.
