Alan Albarran, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Radio, Television and Film at the University of North Texas. He is also the Director of the Center for Spanish Language Media and Editor of The International Journal on Media Management. He is experienced in consulting in the media and entertainment industry. He has authored articles for journals, and is the author of the “Handbook of Media Management and Economics”; “Time and Media Markets; Media Economics: Understanding Markets, Industries and Concepts”; “Management of Electronic Media”, “The Radio Broadcasting Industry”, and “Understanding the Web: Social, Political, and Economic Dimensions of the Internet”. Previously, he was the Editor of the Journal of Media Economics. (This is me - Update Profile)
