Adam Li is an independent consultant working with various clients covering telecommunication, multimedia coding, transmission, digital home, digital lifestyle, and Internet multimedia services. Mr. Li was the Principal Scientist & Chief Architect at DivX, Inc. In these roles, he built and led a R&D department that has developed the well known DivX codec. He is an expert in various video coding technologies and standards, including H.264 (a.k.a. AVC, MPEG-4 Part 10), MPEG-4, H.263, MPEG-2/H.262, and H.261. Mr. Li has been involved in every major direction of application of the technology. He has extensive hand-on experiences on migrating technologies into semiconductor chips and various CE devices which is part of the foundation for the today's digital life style.
