Apple's Fall Updates: New iPods and More | tech.yahoo.com
There are two very interesting things here. WIFI and Starbucks. Both offer Apple more places to reach their customer and maintain the Itunes platform without heavy network infrastructure costs. This looks like cementing the foundations of Apple's mobile platform (partly built out with AT&T), which may ultimately bypass the cellular/mobile operation and deliver an apple based platform in every municipal environment, where presumably you're more likely to buy itunes. Starbucks is an interesting choice of partner. Brand alliances are very difficult to get right but this one might have legs as you might well buy more music as you relax with your coffee.
