Council Member Eligibility

All Council Members eligible to participate in projects have accomplished the following:

  • Provided GLG with complete and current information about themselves, their knowledge, their current employer, their employment history and off-limits topics and conflicts
  • Completed an on-line Council Member Tutorial about their confidentiality obligations and about GLG's additional compliance rules
  • Signed the current version of the GLG Terms and Conditions of Council Membership ("Terms and Conditions") within the last year; GLG's Contract Management SystemSM tracks the version and exact date of the Council Member's agreement, and systematically enforces annual recertification and upgrades

Some of GLG's most esteemed Council Members, those who have met the requirements for and joined GLG Member Programs, are eligible to work with clients on more in-depth projects such as in-person meetings, travel programs and written reports. These Council Members are also provided access to and may participate in GLG News and GLG Live Meetings.

GLG automatically disqualifies from participation in projects with our clients any person who works for a company that GLG has learned prohibits its employees from participating in outside consulting. The GLG Institutional RegistrySM enables companies and other institutions to inform GLG of any restrictions or limitations on the ability of their employees and business partners to participate in consulting through our network.
