Since 1998, Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) has worked with thousands of clients, companies and experts to develop a robust compliance framework. GLG views compliance as a core commitment and has invested in proprietary systems and technology to implement compliance protocols and enable its clients to implement their own.
All experts are required by our systems to complete an interactive tutorial and sign a detailed Terms and Conditions contract before joining the GLG Councils. Among other things, the contract requires Council Members to:
View the current Terms and Conditions of Council Membership at http://www.glgroup.com/tandc.aspx
View the current Council Member Tutorial at http://www.glgroup.com/Tutorial.html
Each year, a Council Member must take the Tutorial and sign the Terms and Conditions.
GLG’s rigorous compliance framework is a key reason that clients choose to work with GLG. Clients appreciate the rules we have put in place for their benefit, and they value the powerful online tools we provide them to monitor and manage their employees’ interactions with Council Members. Experts who are employed may not join the Councils unless permitted to do so by their Employers.
Employers may notify GLG of any guidelines or limitations that apply to their employees’ participation in the GLG Councils through our Institutional Registry GLG automatically disqualifies from projects any person who works for a company that GLG has learned prohibits its employees from participating in outside consulting.
GLG invites a select group of professionals to join GLG Member Programs. Council Members not enrolled in GLG Member Programs may only participate in a limited number of consultations and online surveys. In order to enroll in Member Programs, most employed Council Members must provide GLG with written consent from their employers.
